Member states of the European Union must comply with the new cyber security directive – NIS2 – by October 17th, 2024. Adopted by the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union in December of 2022, the Directive is a response to the cyber threat situation, which has been intensifying for years.
The NIS2 Directive is intended to standardize and increase institutional, corporate and organizational cyber security measures.
This means establishing a higher level of cyber security, addressing cyber risks, building cyber resilience and, an added bonus, elevating competitive advantages.
But you might be wondering – what does the Directive mean for you, especially as a cyber security professional?
In the following newsletter, we will provide recommended measures and solutions that can assist you in meeting the requirements by October of 2024.
