Visory is a national provider of managed IT, cyber security, cloud, and hosting services. The company has a specialization on regulated industries, including wealth management, with a focus on independent registered investment advisors (RIAs); construction; and accounting. Formed in 2022, Visory supports more than 4,500 organizations across the United States with technology and security services built for regulated industries.

“What I've seen in my career is that when we can help enable our cyber security analysts and our cyber security defensive teams to reduce the number of screens they have to pivot through, the integration and collapsing of those tools is paramount.”

Ed Vasko, Chief Operating Officer, Visory

Visory's clients are the businesses regulators watch most closely. Independent RIAs answer to the SEC's Regulation S-P, and firms that also hold a New York banking or insurance license answer to the state's Department of Financial Services. Construction and accounting firms hold client financial data, and accounting practices work to a filing calendar that leaves no room for an email outage or a compromised inbox. Every one of those clients is a small business, and for most of them email is the front door to everything else.

For an MSP serving that many clients, the constraint is not the threat. It is labor. Vasko has more than 35 years in cyber security, having co-founded one national managed security provider and run another before joining Visory in 2026. His measure of a security product is the number of people it takes to run it across the whole client base.

The old model failed that measure. Email security lived in one platform with one administrator. Security awareness training lived in another, with its own administrator, its own integration into the mail flow, and its own onboarding steps for every client. Two products meant two people, two portals, and two activation processes, repeated for every new client that came aboard. At Visory's scale, that duplication is a headcount line.

Visory standardized on Check Point Email Security and its Security Awareness Training. Because awareness training runs inside the same platform as email security, Visory activates both for a client in one motion instead of two. “If they just simply have email, then we provide them email and security awareness,” said Vasko. “And as few clicks as possible to activate that capability, and that's huge. That's music to my ears as an MSP leader because I don't have to maintain extra labor. I don't have the extra costs. I quickly activate value for my clients. That's a win-win-win. I'll take those every day of the year.”

The training itself is what won Vasko over. The platform does not run a library of generic simulations; it generates phishing simulations that reflect the actual attacks aimed at each client's own users. “Let's take this adversarial traffic that's coming in, analyze it, repurpose it for good so that our adversaries are essentially training our own models,” Vasko said. “I saw that and I was like I'm a customer for life.”

Visory has since extended the relationship to Check Point SASE, where the fit is sharpest in Visory's most regulated vertical. “You've got clear delineation around client protections,” Vasko said. “You've got hard regulations, be it the SEC's Reg S-P, the New York Department of Financial Services has same sort of thing. So in the highly regulated space, SASE has applicability.” The wealth management market also handed Visory a deployment lesson. Many of its RIA clients belong to aggregators, which are private-equity-backed groups that acquire independent advisory practices and give them a shared platform, in what amounts to a franchisor and franchisee model. Visory's first instinct was to deploy SASE at the aggregator level and support every practice underneath it from there.

That did not hold. “You're an RIA,” Vasko explains. “I'm an RIA. You're an independent business owner. I'm an independent business owner. Our risk models are totally different. You want access to nfl.com. I don't care about nfl.com,” Vasko said.

The aggregators had no appetite for adjudicating that. “They don't want to be in that business. And they certainly don't want to be in the business of dictating policy that you can't go to nfl.com and I can, or vice versa.”

Instead, Visory redeployed the way the product is designed to run. “If we take the SASE model, take it the way it's meant to be deployed, you have your own gateway, you have your own license or your own client that's attached to that gateway. I have a separate gateway. I attach to my gateway. Now you can control your risk and I can control it differently. And we can set kind of a higher bar for the aggregator.”

Though it costs more than a consumer VPN, Visory sells the difference on what the gateway makes possible, from secure access to regulated client data to the everyday case of an advisor at a hotel printing to the office as if they were sitting in it.

The next step is already under way. Visory is piloting Workforce AI internally with the intent to roll it out to clients quickly, because Vasko sees the mid-market and small business following the same arc the enterprise did: a wave of adoption, then the brakes, and no controls yet where the wave is landing now. “There aren't controls in the same fashion that we see at the enterprise space,” Vasko said. “We're still about six months away from people going, wait a minute, we got a ton of AI sprawl here. I got AI everywhere in my organization. I have no control over it.”

He sees the sprawl in two places at once, in individual employees and in the tools. “My CRM now has an AI agent. My accounting system now has an AI agent. My research platform now has an AI agent. Hell, it's got three.” The message Visory intends to carry down-market is the one the enterprise has already learned. “It's going to be a godsend for all of those business owners because the payment's going to come due,” Vasko said. “We're going to help them see the value of not allowing that AI sprawl to occur.”

2 → 1 administrators consolidated into one operation for email security and awareness training

4,500+ organizations nationwide now onboarded to both services in a single activation

Two administrators became one. Email security and security awareness training now run as a single operation across Visory's client base, activated together and maintained together. New clients with email get both from the first day, without a second onboarding process.

The shared intelligence is what keeps the relationship growing. The threat intelligence behind Check Point Email Security is shared across the rest of the Check Point platform, including SASE and Workforce AI, and Vasko says it is why Visory keeps adding to its Check Point footprint rather than assembling the stack from separate vendors.

“It's one of the key reasons why we're looking to continue to expand the portfolio with Check Point,” Vasko said. “If you think about the integration work that's being done within Check Point's email security, how we take this really great information we're getting on email, and and extending it so that we continue to do good with the platform and make it more efficient and make it more value- oriented. You keep doing that, we'll keep signing up. That's what it comes down to.”
